Job Description:

We are excited to announce a new store opportunity in Southern Brisbane for a Department Manager role. As a key member of our team, you will lead the team and support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in delivering an unbeatable client experience.

As a Senior Beauty Advisor, your primary responsibilities include driving a selling culture within your team to meet KPIs, promoting Sephora's values, and motivating the team.

You will also be responsible for utilizing and exploiting data to support operational decisions by working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

Additionally, you will consistently raise performance and capability of the team to support developing internal talent.

Implementing a continuous improvement mentality within the team and working in partnership with the wider team are also key aspects of this role.

As the point of contact for client and cast member matters, you will deliver first-class customer service within a fast-paced environment and confidently make store decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Passionate about excellent client service and experiential retail
  • Previous retail management experience at a big box retailer
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
  • Hands-on leader who loves being on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and help team members succeed
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members at all levels
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work weekends, before/after store hours, and evenings
  • Drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite
