Our peer-led recovery model is designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for individuals experiencing psychological distress. This innovative approach allows low-risk individuals to access support from trained professionals within their community, outside a clinical setting.
Role Overview
As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and supporting consumers in a person-led, strengths-focused, and recovery-oriented way. You will build respectful relationships with consumers based on conversations that draw from personal experiences and emotions to support them in their journey of recovery.
Key aspects of this role include:
