Mental Health Recovery Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support mental health consumers' recovery journey as a Peer Support Specialist. As part of a dynamic team, you will be working in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality services.
Main Responsibilities- Utilize your lived experience to empower others in their mental health recovery journey.
- Develop and implement group and individual peer-led initiatives.
- Foster effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders including consumers, families, and service providers.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Personal experience as a consumer of Mental Health Services.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or demonstrated commitment to obtain.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
This position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues.
