Job Description

Liebherr-Australia's Mining Division seeks a seasoned technician to provide high-quality services to our customer base.

This is a permanent FIFO site-based role from Perth on an 8/6 roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, commissioning, diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services
  • Breakdown maintenance, repairs and calibration of field devices associated with Fleet Management (FMS), Traffic Management (TMS), Telecommunications, Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle Awareness (VAS), High Precision Machine Guidance and Onboard Perception and Robotics Systems
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals
  • Maintenance, testing, commissioning and repair of electrical/electronic equipment
  • Diagnosis of faults, repair, maintenance and overhaul of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
  • Running adjustments to mechanical and/or electrical/electronic equipment

Applicants must possess a Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV) qualification and have relevant industry experience.

A strong understanding of Autonomous Mining Systems and Liebherr mining equipment is essential for this role.
