Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position as a Physiotherapist - Team Leader (Level 4) at Healthscope. As a key member of the Physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across various inpatient areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload and oversee the acute, inpatient clinical wards of the hospital.
  • Provide support to the Physiotherapy service operating in ED and outpatients.
  • Participate in a weekend and public holiday roster.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical experience working in an acute care hospital.
  • Extensive experience working across a variety of acute, inpatient Physiotherapy areas.
  • Demonstrated provision of excellent clinical care related to patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning, and contemporary evidence-based practice in Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated ability and previous experience in providing leadership to a designated clinical area and department.
  • Demonstrated participation in driving service development and quality improvement within a Physiotherapy Department.
  • Ability to work with other senior staff and Physiotherapy Manager on issues such as workload and staff management and strategic planning.
  • Experience in providing supervision and mentoring to junior Physiotherapy staff and students.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organisation skills.
