We're seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and build our entire marketing ecosystem. You will be instrumental in driving our brands' presence and sales, both vertically (product depth) and horizontally (customer breadth, including finding new industries and opportunities), through our vital retailer network.

Brand Stewardship & Management: Expertise in managing and elevating the brands we distribute, ensuring their market success, reputation, and exposure.
Strategic Implementation & Team Management: Proven ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable plans, oversee their implementation, develop automated processes and lead a high-performing team of marketing experts (including graphic designers, social media managers, content creators, admin staff, and customer service).
Data-Driven Decision-Making: A passion for analysing performance metrics, working closely with data analysts and utilising dashboards to derive insights, and driving continuous improvement through a rigorous plan-do-check-adjust framework.
AI & Innovation: A talent for combining strategic thinking with the power of AI, automation and leading-edge software, using imagination to innovate and create competitive advantage.
Executive & Cross-functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams, our suppliers and customers, operations managers, and the CEO to align strategies, foster cross-functional synergy, and collectively fulfil the company's vision and control profitability.
Industry Passion: A genuine passion for and knowledge of fishing, hunting, and the broader outdoor lifestyle is highly regarded, enabling authentic connection with our market is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, MBA or a related field is required.
Extensive experience with CRM's or ERP's (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, NetSuite or similar) and marketing and business automation platforms is essential.
Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and data sharing/analytics platforms is highly advantageous and the Microsoft 365 environment.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years' progressive experience in marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years at a senior management or Head of Marketing level, preferably within wholesale distribution, manufacturing, retail/online or a related B2B/B2C industry.
Proven track record of successfully developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that have driven significant business growth, market expansion (vertical and horizontal), and profitability.
Demonstrable expertise in D2C brand building, B2B lead generation, and B2B2C channel enablement.
Strong experience in brand management, including managing and growing third-party brands within a distribution model.
Deep understanding and practical experience with digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email, content, influencer marketing) and their strategic application.
Proven ability to strategically integrate and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and marketing technology stacks for optimisation, personalisation, and efficiency.
Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentorship skills, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing marketing professionals.
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a relentless focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
