Hydrographic Surveyor Position

We are seeking an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to join our dynamic Hydrosurvey team at Flinders Port Holdings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality and timely surveying and technical services, including coordination and maintenance of the Tidal networks in South Australia, and liaison with the National Tidal Unit regarding predictions. Key responsibilities include undertaking hydrographic, topographic and engineering surveys, editing and processing survey data, drafting plans, and managing spatial and aspatial digital data.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate Diploma in Surveying or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Level 2 Marine Surveyor)
- Tidal theory and practical field knowledge
- Eligible for registration as a Hydrographic Surveyor with the Geospatial Council of Australia
- Current Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated ability in effectively managing survey programs

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this position is $AUD 90,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation benefits.
