About the Role
Flinders Port Holdings is seeking an experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to join our dynamic Hydrosurvey team based at our Outer Harbor Facility. This key role will involve providing quality and timely surveying and technical services, including coordination and maintenance of the Tidal networks in South Australia.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with an Associate Diploma in Surveying or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Your skills and experience will include tidal theory and practical field knowledge, eligibility for registration as a Hydrographic Surveyor with the Geospatial Council of Australia, and proficiency in the use of automatic recording surveying instruments and associated computer programs.
Responsibilities
- Undertake hydrographic, topographic and engineering surveys, edit and process survey data as required.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the tide gauge/weather station network and collect tidal data.
- Manage requests from external organisations and general public on issues relating to tides and provide support services for management of spatial and aspatial digital data.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum
