About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in leading a high-performing team and its deliverables.

You will lead the delivery of expert budget and financial management advice to senior executives, supported by rigorous analysis.

Communicate complex concepts and influence stakeholders on a range of business issues.

  • Lead the delivery of expert budget and financial management advice to senior executives.
  • Act as a key contact for groups/divisions and ensure the timely resolution of financial issues.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting processes using forward-looking analytics.
  • Identify and analyze emerging financial issues, trends, and risks and provide forward-looking insight to senior executives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and team members.

About You

To be considered for the role, you must demonstrate:

  • High-level expertise in budget and accounting services.
  • Advanced knowledge of resource allocation, budget planning, and financial management practices.
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical abilities, including demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis.
  • Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas and information.
  • Extensive understanding of delivering major projects.

Requirements

  • Membership of a professional association such as CPA Australia or ICAA.
  • Experience using finance, budgeting, and reporting systems.
  • Experience and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
