
Budget and Financial Management Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Budget and Financial Management Expert, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of financial accounting related services for our organisation. You will work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to provide timely, accurate and high-quality financial analysis and advice on operating and capital budget issues.
- Key Responsibilities:
- - Lead the annual budget planning, analysis and monitoring process for both capital and operating budgets.
- - Provide expert financial advice and support to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- - Manage financial reporting and analysis, including provision of financial input to ERC business cases.
Requirements:
- Qualifications/Experience:
- - Extensive experience in financial accounting and budgeting.
- - Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures in the Victorian Public Sector or other large and complex organisations.
- - Proficient in the use of an enterprise finance system such as Oracle Financials (or similar).
