Job Overview:

The role of Senior Security Specialist is to lead the implementation and management of security solutions across the organization. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of security posture through the effective use of next-generation security tools and threat intelligence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security architectures to protect against emerging threats
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans to minimize business disruption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security gaps
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security management
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members on security procedures

Key Qualifications:

  • NV1 Security Clearance required
  • Australian citizenship required
  • Proven experience with next-generation security solutions, including MS Defender ATP and CrowdStrike
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10)
  • Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, and VBS scripting languages
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and process management
  • Desirable: Microsoft certifications in security

Certification:

  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred
