Rural Generalist GP VMO Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Rural Generalist GP to join our practice in Queenstown, Tasmania.

  • Our supportive Practice Manager and senior FACRRM Medical Coordinator will provide you with comprehensive guidance and resources.
  • You will have full-time access to an RN Nurse who will assist you in your daily tasks.
  • We offer co-located emergency beds and 10 inpatient beds, providing you with a range of patient care opportunities.
  • You will also have the opportunity to work with visiting specialists including Audiologists, Optometrists, Psychologists, and Podiatrists.
  • Your VMO roster will be 1:3, ensuring a sustainable and manageable workload.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Rural Generalist or non-VR General Practitioner looking to further their skills and experience. Our client offers significant moratorium reduction, visa sponsorship, and permanent residency.

Queenstown is a unique and rugged mining town surrounded by natural beauty. It's close to the edge of Tasmania's World Heritage Wilderness Area and offers great fishing lakes.

This location is suitable for various medical training programs, including MDRAP, RVTS, ACRRM Independent Pathway, Specialist Pathway, RGT Scheme, and RACGP PEP Standard Stream & FSP Fellowship Support Program.
