We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Leader to join our expanding practice in Queenstown, Tasmania. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead GP VMO (Medical Coordinator) to take on a senior clinical leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in our community.
As a Senior Medical Leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical governance, conducting audits, mentoring and supervising registrars and medical students, and leading by example in supporting preventative health initiatives. You will also be involved in the new doctor induction program and have the opportunity to work closely with our team of healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have proficient skills in general practice conditions, hold current emergency medicine certification, and have recent experience in an unsupervised setting as a VMO. Experience as a Senior/Lead GP is highly desirable but not essential.
