
Senior Document Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Governance Specialist to lead our team and provide expertise advice, promote and communicate good document management practices across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing, implementing and maintaining information governance systems and policies ideally within a government or large commercial environment.
A strong leadership and communication skillset, along with a proactive approach to promoting information governance with stakeholders, is essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will also possess a working knowledge of document management principles and standards.
The team you will be leading comprises 3 talented Information Management Specialists. You will be responsible for managing electronic document and records management systems, as well as hard copy filing, archiving, retention, and disposal processes.
You will work closely with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain information governance frameworks, policies, processes, and procedures.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that oversees more than 50 projects as a cornerstone of Victoria's infrastructure development. Your contributions will help build better roads throughout Victoria, improving safety and ensuring drivers enjoy more reliable journeys.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information governance systems and policies.
- Lead a team of 3 Information Management Specialists and develop a team culture that makes our business a great place to work and learn.
- Manage electronic document and records management systems and hard copy filing, archiving, retention, and disposal processes.
