Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Mine Closure Planner to join our multidisciplinary team in Brisbane or Perth. As a key member of our Mining Services business, you will contribute to the development and delivery of integrated mine closure solutions.
About the Role
This leadership position will involve a combination of strategic planning, business development, client liaison, and technical direction. You will work closely with our scientists, engineers, and closure planners to provide robust technical input and direction, with a focus on mine closure planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Contribute to and implement our global and APAC mine closure strategy.
- Technical Direction: Provide robust technical input and direction, with a focus on mine closure planning.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary mine closure projects.
- Business Growth: Strengthen our market position by proactively seeking internal and external opportunities.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Science, or equivalent, coupled with previous consulting experience.
- Experience: Substantial experience in mine rehabilitation and mine closure planning.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
- Delivery: Proven track record in delivering large, multi-disciplinary projects on-time and on-budget.
