Job Overview

This position is an exciting opportunity to join Charterhouse as an Aquatic Centre Maintenance Professional, contributing to the delivery of exceptional services at the Sydney Olympic Park location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure water quality compliance with NSW Health regulations and other statutory requirements by performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with maintenance contractors to guarantee continuous operation and safety.
  • Adhere to established maintenance programs and work instructions, ensuring accurate data and information for plant operations.
  • Perform allocated repairs through the MEX system, installing new works and fittings as required while prioritizing safe working practices.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with venue maintenance.

Key Challenges:

  • Meet service delivery expectations during peak seasons at the Aquatic Centre.
  • Ensure all equipment remains operational.

Requirements:

  • A current Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for this role, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
  • A valid Driver's License is essential.
  • A Forklift License is also required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Aquatic Technical Operator (SISSS00011) or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $32-$50 per hour, plus superannuation based on experience. This remuneration package reflects the importance of this role in maintaining the high standards of aquatic centre operations.
