Job Overview

This role is centered around customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of payment-related issues. The Customer Payments Specialist will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with empathetic support and guidance throughout the payments process.


Key Responsibilities
  • To manage a high volume of inbound and outbound collection calls, ensuring that all customer interactions are conducted in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assessing customer files to identify potential solutions and implementing strategies to resolve outstanding debts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring queues and interpreting reports to optimize collection activity and daily workload.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address any operational issues and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar collections or support role, managing queues and handling inbound and outbound communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and understand customer needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on task completion and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in technology, with a willingness to adapt to new systems and tools.
