
Regional Transport Infrastructure Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Rockhampton. As part of the Transport Team, you will work on various regionally significant transport and general civil planning and design projects.
The successful candidate will have experience in transportation infrastructure, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards. They will be responsible for leading general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects, as well as acting as Project Manager/Technical Lead on various projects.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ and ideally 12+ years of experience in a consultancy, local Council or State Government Department
- Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and a track record of applying technical knowledge when delivering projects
- Extensive design and/or project management experience with State Government or local council civil infrastructure and transport projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively at both internal and external levels
- Flexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, part-time, job-sharing and hybrid work options
