Project Ceres HSSE Advisor Job Opportunity

This is a key role within our team on the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, incorporating state-of-the-art production processes.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for ensuring all operations comply with local regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies. This includes providing expert guidance and promoting a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of our health, safety, environment, and security (HSES) management system.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead incident investigations and support root cause analysis to understand the underlying causes of incidents.
  • Deliver HSES training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential HSES risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and present HSES performance data to management to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
