About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a State Manager VIC, SA, TAS. This is a rare and pivotal role that will play a critical part in steering our Environmental business in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of experienced managers to deliver exceptional service to our clients and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and business services teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  • Act as a key communicator, promoting best practices in safety and sustainability and facilitating the sharing of knowledge across the organization.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality for our clients, with a strong focus on productive and sustainable business practices.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Science and/or Business.
  • Minimum 10 years' previous laboratory and/or business experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Passion for science, technology, and innovation.
  • Alignment to ALS's core values and culture.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute on projects.
  • A client-focused business style and ability to develop relationships.
