Job Title: Ambulance Transport Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Ambulance Transport Attendant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and transportation services.

About the Role:

This is a casual position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts, including mornings, nights, and weekends, and be willing to work across all three locations occasionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing primary care, clinical monitoring, and patient care for low to medium acuity cases
  • Delivering clinical handovers during transfers
  • Ensuring high-quality, timely, safe, and efficient patient care
  • Adhering to clinical and operational policies, procedures, and transport regulations
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Safely driving patient transport vehicles in accordance with Victorian road laws

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Paramedical Science, Bachelor of Nursing, or Diploma of Emergency Health Care
  • Completion of 400 on-road clinical hours if holding a Diploma or Bachelor of Paramedicine, to qualify as an ATA
  • Current full driver's license with a good driving record
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work professionally within a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care or DIV1 Nurse qualification
