We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the alumina industry. As a key member of our Residue Operations unit, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions in a tailings dam environment.
About the Role- Lead geotechnical investigations, assessments and designs that drive project success.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent and broader team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.
- Manage geotechnical risks and contribute to practical solutions in a tailings dam setting.
- Degree qualified in Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering with experience in geotechnical/tailings dam design, construction and/or operation.
- Experience in geotechnical assessments of dam stability and Critical State Soil Mechanics.
- Solid understanding of internationally recognised tailings management standards and best practice guidelines.
