Job Title: Night Manager Part Time

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Manager to join our team at Mercure Brisbane Garden City. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's overnight operation, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the hotel overnight in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Complete audits of daily revenue and postings, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collate paperwork and reports for finance and management.
  • Provide efficient guest services, including check-in/check-out, request handling, and providing hotel information.
  • Settle and maintain guest accounts, ensuring accurate cashiering.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Maintain the hotel's standard of professionalism.
  • Be analytical and possess an eye for detail.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager and General Manager in various check and balance procedures.
  • Assist with food and drink service in Distrikt Cafe and help out when needed in the restaurant and bar.
Requirements:
  • Guest-obsessed focus with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to navigate through change and provide quick-thinking solutions when problems arise.
  • Clear and confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for numbers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • RSA and First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
