The role of a Security Officer is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the hospital. This position involves providing a reassuring presence while supporting staff, patients, and visitors.
- Responding to safety, security, and emergency incidents with professionalism and efficiency.
- Resolving conflicts and tough scenarios using empathy and confidence.
This position requires flexibility and adaptability, working closely with the SIMS Team Leader and other members of the hospital community to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.
- Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and respond to different situations.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in healthcare, is highly desirable.
- You must have a calm and composed nature, suitable for a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A WA Security License
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- WA Driver's License (C class)
- First Aid Certificate including CPR
- Working with Children card
