Job Description:

As a highly skilled Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality general accounting services within our Corporate Accounting team.

The primary objective of this position is to prepare and submit monthly financial reports that accurately reflect the company's financial performance.

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Financial accounting services including journal processing, month end general ledger close, balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting and tax support as required
  • Investigation and resolution of issues and implementation of processes and internal accounting controls to prevent reoccurrence

The Ideal Candidate:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in a similar financial accounting role
  • CA/CPA qualified or near qualified
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and proactive approach with experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Exceptional Excel skills and current user of an ERP system (SAP or JD Edwards experience highly valued)
