Accountant - Financial Specialist

This well-established organisation in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic Business Advisory team.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family groups, and entrepreneurs while developing your technical and advisory skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Supporting advisory work, structuring, and tax planning
  • Liaising with clients and assisting on key queries
  • Mentoring junior staff members (if at Senior level)
  • Collaborating across service lines

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in public practice
  • Completion of or currently studying towards a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification
  • A commercial mindset and excellent client communication skills
