Job Opportunity

A highly experienced Senior Financial Accountant is required to oversee and execute financial accounting activities with precision and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves providing strategic financial insights, managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general accounts, wholesale and network settlements, and revenue and cost of supplies assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute financial accounting activities with accuracy and compliance
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general accounts, wholesale and network settlements effectively
  • Ensure timely financial reporting and revenue assurance
Requirements:
  • Degree in accounting, finance or related field of study
  • At least 3–5 years of operational experience in an electricity retailer or the energy sector industry
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
  • Strategic thinker with high attention to detail, initiative, and ability to make informed decisions

This mid-senior level position works closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Compliance teams within the organization.
