Senior Tax Accountant and Business Advisor

We are seeking a senior tax accountant and business advisor to join our professional staff on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, accounting, and financial planning, with the ability to provide expert advice to clients on tax strategies and business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing existing clients with tax, business advisory and accounting services
  • Assisting with tax research and advice
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, corporate and personal income taxes, sales and use tax, etc.
  • Advising and consulting on taxation issues, such as tax implications of business decisions
  • Managing and maintaining our tax database, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Identifying tax savings and recommending strategies to improve profits for clients

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in tax accounting
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of current and emerging tax laws and regulations
  • Great relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
