Career Opportunities Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employment Coach. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers to set and achieve their goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider.
Key Responsibilities- Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges
- Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning
- Prepare quality resumes, cover letters, and support the job application process
- Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf
- Refer customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counselling
- Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment
You will be a great fit for the team if you have a passion and drive for helping others. You will be self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded, and willing to listen and support without judgment. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
