The SA Health Media Unit coordinates all media responses, interviews and press conferences for the Department of Health and Wellbeing in South Australia.
As a Media Support Officer with our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of comprehensive strategic media and communications services. This includes administrative duties within our team and end-to-end media services.
You will work closely with journalists, policy makers, doctors, nurses and health executives to make a difference in public health. Based at our office in Adelaide, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow through great training and mentoring.
We're looking for a values-led team player with strong writing and communication skills. A degree in communications, public relations, media or a related field is highly desirable. Experience in delivering press releases, media events or journalism and working closely with various people will be viewed favourably.

The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
