Job Overview:
An Account Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing and growing existing Commercial Insurance portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in an Account Executive position within a broking environment, with a strong understanding of the Commercial/Corporate market.
A Tier 1 broking qualification and Diploma of Insurance Broking are highly desirable. Additionally, exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship management, and influencing skills are necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and grow an existing Commercial Insurance portfolio
- Proactively manage the existing book of business while identifying and closing new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships within the market
- Process new business, renewals, and endorsements (with administrative support provided)
- Provide exceptional service to all clients
Essential Experience:
- Several years' experience in an Account Executive position within a broking environment
- Very strong knowledge of the Commercial/Corporate market
- Ideal experience placing Professional Indemnity risk and knowledge of the construction sector
- Tier 1 broking qualification and ideally Diploma of Insurance Broking
- Client-focused with a proven track record of providing exceptional service
- Effective communication, negotiation, relationship management, and influencing skills
- Proven track record of maintaining an existing book of business while further developing it and maintain new clients
