Job Overview

This Senior Lifting Operations Manager position plays a critical role in supporting logistics, projects, and drilling operations within the oil and gas industry. The role ensures compliance with relevant company rules and regulations, as well as adherence to established lifting management systems.

This position is responsible for driving health and safety performance across various sites and lifting operations. The manager coordinates with key stakeholders such as engineering, procurement, construction, and service providers to support different operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as the Lifting Technical Authority for affiliates and projects.
  • Implement and apply company policies and lifting management systems.
  • Reviews complex engineering calculations for lifts.
  • Approves lifting plans for complex operations and attends high-risk Category 3 lifts.
  • Conducts internal and external audits and reviews.
  • Verifies the condition of lifting equipment and evaluates its on-site use.
  • Participates in incident and accident investigations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in lifting and handling operations in a supervisory capacity.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Upstream Industry.
  • Experience holding positions requiring high-level commitment to workforce safety and welfare.
  • Thorough knowledge of international standards, UKOOA, BS, LOLER, and NORSOK.
  • Knowledge of client's Lifting Referential.
  • Leadership and organizational skills in a multicultural environment.
