Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Haul/Heavy Lift Operations Manager to lead our team in the execution of heavy haulage and heavy lift services on major projects across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary workforces, preferably in the Oil and Gas construction sector, and strong knowledge of SPMT systems, rigging techniques, and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive lift plans and transportation strategies for oversized module movements using SPMTs
  • Manage site teams and coordinate heavy haulage and lifting operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and build strong working relationships
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards

Requirements:

  • Trade or professional background with experience managing multi-disciplinary workforces
  • Experience working within the Oil and Gas construction sector desirable
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Lift Superintendent or Senior Supervisor in heavy haulage and lifting industry
  • Strong knowledge of SPMT systems, rigging techniques, and lifting equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
