Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of waste water projects in South Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting project documentation, including drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Overseeing project planning, programming and resourcing from inception to delivery
  • Attending post-tender meetings and managing pre-award correspondence with clients
  • Working with site personnel to set up and deliver projects successfully
  • Preparing, monitoring and updating project programs, managing extensions of time where required
  • Ensuring QA, safety, environmental and risk controls are in place and maintained
  • Conducting site visits and meetings to oversee project progress and performance
  • Managing procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiations and claims
  • Handling project variations, RFIs, progress claims, invoices and final completion documentation
About You

You are an experienced Civil Project Manager with a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills and commercial awareness. You thrive in a busy environment, can manage multiple priorities and enjoy collaborating with a diverse range of people.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the same role within Australia
  • Proven background in managing waste water projects
  • Civil engineering qualifications are essential
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to deliver projects profitably
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with site teams and subcontractors
