Project Director

Seeking an experienced leader to oversee water infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will manage regional and metropolitan projects, ensuring timely delivery and high quality results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract involvement to close-out.
  • Proactively manage day-to-day operations, coordinating with teams to drive progress and performance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of contracts, scopes, and schedules to ensure compliance and cost-effective execution.
  • Coordinate design reviews to integrate client requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage complex brownfield construction environments, minimizing disruption and maintaining safety.
  • Monitor and control project budgets and financial performance.
  • Approve subcontractor invoices, track variations, and implement actions to maintain profitability.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement and onboarding, ensuring compliance with insurance and WHS requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports for senior management, outlining progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure QA and HSEC compliance across all project aspects.
  • Lead safe behavior on site by setting high standards and communicating expectations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in project delivery.
