We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our national safety and wellbeing initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with WHS legislation across all Australian jurisdictions, developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, overseeing workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims, and designing and delivering wellbeing programs addressing emotional, physical, and financial health.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation across all Australian jurisdictions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain national health and safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee all workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims nationally.
- Liaise with insurers, rehabilitation providers, and employees to ensure timely and effective claim resolution.
- Design and deliver wellbeing programs addressing emotional, physical, and financial health.
- Provide training and resources to foster a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Demonstrated experience in WHS across multiple Australian jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and claims management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement wellbeing programs.
- Experience managing insurer relationships and driving accountability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and training facilitation skills.
- Analytical skills to interpret injury data and identify trends.
