**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Day Shift Technician. As a Day Shift Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant / equipment and HVAC mechanical cooling / heating systems. They will also be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of response to asset performance, completing assigned work, and ensuring any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.

  • This includes maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the building's infrastructure and their layouts, functions and complexities.
  • You will ensure that data center operations and business policies and processes are complied with at your sites i.e. effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to within the contract.
  • You will manage contractors/suppliers to insure maintenance, repairs, and operations are to a high standard and in line with maintenance agreements/SLAs.

The ideal candidate will have experience of maintaining critical & temperature control conditioned environments and a detailed understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on data center environments.
  • Experience of maintaining critical & temperature control conditioned environments.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
