About the Role

Our government department is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support critical ICT projects and operations.

This role sits within a high-performing CIO Division that delivers enabling services and technology solutions to support national economic and scientific initiatives.

You'll be part of the Infrastructure Services team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing Windows Server environments, resolving major incidents, and supporting business-as-usual operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support Windows Server operating systems and associated services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents.
  • Monitor systems and apply patches using Microsoft System Centre and Intune.
  • Support cyber security initiatives and compliance with government standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • Advanced experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File and Print, DFS, GPO, and AGPM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft System Centre (SCOM, SCCM/MECM) and Intune.
  • Understanding of tools and methodologies including whitelisting, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and device control.
