About the Role

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring that products consistently meet Workwear Group's quality and compliance standards, as well as relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Inspections: Regularly inspect products during various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Corrective Actions: Identify and address any quality issues by implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Protocols: Create and update quality assurance protocols to ensure consistent production quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure that all products comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular audits and reviews to verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Testing Data: Collect, analyze, and manage data from product tests to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Training: Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and procedures for staff and supply chain partners.
  • Quality Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control and assurance activities.
  • Process Improvements: Use data and records to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments, document findings, and ensure timely close-outs of identified risks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Apparel and/or Textiles, Engineering, Quality System management.
  • Industry Connections: Connection with key industry bodies such as Educational Institutions, Testing Facilities, Standards Australia, as examples, is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to build strong cross-functional connections.
