Project Finance Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Finance professional to join our growing team in Sydney. This role will involve working closely with Partners and other senior practitioners across the Projects group nationally, focusing on project finance.

As a senior lawyer in this team, you will have the opportunity to learn from and build your own brand alongside highly regarded market-leading partners with extensive top-tier credentials. You will be involved in advising domestic and global sponsors, financiers, borrowers, and listed corporates on the project financing of major energy, infrastructure, and resources projects both in Australia and internationally.

This role requires at least 5 years' experience as an Australian qualified lawyer at a leading commercial law firm, gained within a ranked Project Finance practice. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Exceptional technical legal skills including contract drafting and negotiation;
  • Commercial awareness and a drive for providing exceptional client service;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to run matters efficiently to a high standard;
  • A collegiate attitude towards working collaboratively with other team members and practice groups;
  • Aptitude for business development and contributing to the ongoing growth of the practice; and
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
