Senior Procurement Professional

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a skilled procurement specialist to contribute to our team in Western Australia.
Main Responsibilities:- RFQ Process Management: Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, including market engagement, vendor identification, negotiation, and commercial evaluation.
- Materials Procurement: Procure competitively priced materials that meet technical specifications in an ethical, cost-effective, and timely manner.
- Relationship Management: Maintain key relationships with internal customers, functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships with a focus on problem resolution and performance improvement.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy for General Ledgers and maintain key records of procurements.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in procurement processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with company policies, risk management protocols, and SOX compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Detailed knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to ensure data accuracy and maintain key records.
