Job Title: Children Services Team Lead

Job Description:
  • The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective support services to children and young people with complex needs.
  • You will work closely with children and young people diagnosed with disabilities and/or complex behaviour needs, focusing on achieving their goals and living life the way they choose.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision while ensuring high-quality care with dignity and respect.
  • Partner with children and young people, families, and carers to develop and implement individualised support plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and assessments to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities and confidence in resolving complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively at all levels.
  • A proven track record of leadership, motivation, and performance management within a dynamic environment.

About You:
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, Children's Services, or similar field.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health concerns.
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check and obtain/maintain current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
