About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to lead our team in the Preschool Room at a Shellharbour service.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, inclusive learning programs and working closely with the Centre Director to achieve excellence.

  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve exceptional outcomes and maintain strong professional relationships with one another.
  • Develop and implement effective cycle planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child in your room.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible documentation of children's learning to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and interactive learning environment that promotes healthy development.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH ALL TEAM MEMBERS.
  • E nsure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an educator and possess a strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • An outstanding level of verbal and written communication.
  • Able to work effectively with technology.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A current approved First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis/Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain.
