Full-Time Fire Door Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Door Technician to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. As a key member of our fire safety and security solutions team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire doors, passive fire protection systems, and related equipment.

About the Role:

  • You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality service delivery to a diverse client base.
  • You will conduct regular inspections, testing, and defect reporting in line with Australian Standards.
  • You will recommend upgrades and provide quotations for repairs and maintenance services.

Requirements:

  • You must have a qualified trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.
  • You must have a QBCC Doors and Passive Stream licence or be willing to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1851, AS1905) is highly regarded.
  • You must have experience in fire doors or passive systems or be willing to upskill and gain nationally recognised fire safety qualifications.
