Portable Fire Systems Technician Role

Job Overview:

The Portable Fire Systems Technician plays a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of portable fire protection and safety systems.

  • Servicing portable fire equipment on customer sites, recommending compliant solutions and identifying repair or installation needs.
  • Auditing client locations, providing quotes and selling fire protection and safety systems, equipment and services to meet Australian Standards.
  • Repairing and installing portable fire protection and safety systems, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations.
  • Maintaining electronic records and industry documentation for completed work.
  • Meeting financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional experience or qualifications specified by applicable local classification structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for portable service fire protection equipment.
  • Current QBCC License (QLD) for Fire - Portables Class/Stream, mandatory for Install and maintenance of Portable Equipment.
