We are seeking a skilled Portable Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fire protection services division, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and sales of portable fire equipment.

The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in the fire protection industry, including servicing, maintaining & selling fire hose reels, fire extinguishers and related products, and be able to obtain or already have industry accreditation.

This role requires someone who can represent our brand to the highest standards and capitalize on product sales opportunities whilst carrying out service work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing portable fire equipment on client premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards
  • Auditing client's locations, quoting and selling the full range of portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment, and services
  • Identifying, repairing and installing portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to specific Australian Standards
  • Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using electronic maintenance records and specific Industry documentation
  • Understanding and exceeding financial targets and Key Performance Indicators
Requirements:
  • Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to portable fire protection equipment
  • A current (QLD) QBCC License, for Fire – Portables Class / Stream for Install and maintenance of Portable Equipment, is mandatory
