Nurse Leadership Specialist

As a Mentor Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding new graduate and early-career Registered Nurses through the Gerontological Nursing Competencies (GNCs) program.
The program aims to support successful completion of the GNCs by mentoring participants, coordinating surveys and data collection, and collaborating with facilitators to deliver workshop material.
About the Role- Coordinate the recruitment, training, and support of mentors with clinical backgrounds.
- Mentor participants of the GNCs program to ensure their successful completion.
- Work collaboratively with facilitators to deliver workshop material during the GNCs program.
- Coordinate surveys, collect data, and conduct interviews to contribute to reports on the program's outcomes and impact.
- Strong leadership and management experience, including supervising and mentoring clinicians.
- Expertise in specialist Gerontology and/or Nursing area(s).
- Proven ability to independently interpret and apply academic and administrative policies in a clinical and research context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of interrelationships between academic, administrative, and clinical policies.
