Australian Open Food Operations Specialist

This is a key role in the delivery of Australian Open food, dining and catering operations across planning, event execution and logistics. The successful candidate will have experience in large-scale catering or major event environments and a strong understanding of food and hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Delivery: Support the end-to-end delivery of food, dining and catering operations, including site access, kitchen infill and POS system setup.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate operational requirements with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Catering Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with catering partners, restaurant vendors and precinct stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and high-quality experiences.
- Team Leadership: Contribute to workforce planning and team leadership by supporting staffing coordination, inductions and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- A minimum 3 years' experience in large-scale catering or major event environments.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end food and beverage delivery in major sporting events.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and manage commercial operations within a complex organisational setting.
