About the RoleThis seasonal contract offers the chance to join our team as a Player Services Assistant and deliver exceptional support for players during the Australian Open 2026.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience in events or sports administration.
- To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to time-manage effectively, prioritise tasks, and exercise sound judgement in complex situations.
- You will also need to have highly developed computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft suite software.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for player services, including the administration of visas, accreditation, accommodation, and other player needs.
You will work closely with Tennis Australia departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of player services.
- Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring a high level of professional service by promptly directing player inquiries to the relevant tournament areas.
- Monitoring communication channels for players and delivering timely updates.
- Assisting in the planning, design, and setup of player areas at the AO.
- Supporting with player gifting and entertainment.
- Supporting in the supervision of the Player Services Team.
- Assisting with the promotion and supervision of Player Activations and Championship Celebrations.
- Offering administrative support in developing training sessions and operational manuals for player services.
