Plastic Mould Technician

The role requires a skilled individual to fit and start up blow moulds in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fitting and testing plastic moulds on machine.
  • Learning the skills required to start up a mould machine after changes have been made.
  • Identifying faults with moulding processes and assisting in diagnosing and recommending repair equipment and improvements.
  • Managing priorities, deadlines, and safety standards effectively.
  • Experienced with operating valves, hydraulics, conveyors, pneumatics, and air cylinders.
  • A strong commitment to occupational health and safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Performing regular maintenance on all machinery.

This is a full-time or casual position requiring a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for learning and improvement.
